About Me.
I know what it means to build a life, question it, lose parts of it, and build again.
For more than 30 years, I’ve been navigating the intersection of identity, relationships, family, career, loss, and change, not only professionally, but personally.
I have worked hard to understand who I am and to stand confidently and authentically in that identity. My path to parenthood included six years of infertility before I became a mother to my daughter, whom I carried and conceived through donor egg and donor sperm. I am queer, I have been married, experienced divorce and separation, survived abusive relationships, and found my way forward through grief, loss, and some profound periods of change.
Along the way, I also built a very successful career, over the last several decades, in book publishing and advertising, leading people and navigating the pressures, expectations, politics, and constant change that come with demanding careers. I understand ambition and achievement. I also understand burnout, questioning what comes next, and the sometimes uncomfortable realization that a life that looks successful from the outside may no longer fit the person you have become, or aspire to be.
Today, I bring those worlds together as a certified life and wellness coach and an experienced executive coach.
At the heart of my work are five values: freedom, authenticity, respect, curiosity, and kindness. They shape how I show up as a coach and how I create space for the people I work with to explore without judgment, question without expectation, and discover what feels true for them.
I work with people who are navigating the complicated middle spaces of life: career changes, burnout, grief and loss, parenting, infertility, relationships, neurodivergence, gender and identity exploration, and the lasting effects of trauma and generational patterns.
I don’t believe our lives unfold in neat, straight lines. Mine certainly hasn’t.
I do, however, believe that we can question what we’ve inherited, reconsider who we thought we were supposed to be, and make intentional choices about who we want to become. I believe in the freedom to define a meaningful life for ourselves. and in approaching that process with curiosity rather than judgment and kindness rather than criticism.
Sometimes that means making a major change. Sometimes it means learning to trust yourself. Sometimes it means finding the courage to stand more fully in who you are. And sometimes it simply means having a place where you don’t have to have everything figured out.
My role as a coach isn’t to tell you who to be or what your life should look like. It’s to meet you with respect, ask thoughtful questions, and help you hear yourself more clearly. Together, we can get curious about what may be keeping you stuck and explore a way forward that feels authentic to you.
I bring the perspective of an executive, the training of a certified coach, and the lived experience of someone who has had to question, rediscover, and reinvent parts of her own life more than once.
You don’t need a perfect plan for what comes next.
You just need a place to begin.
